বাংলাদেশ এমন একটি দেশ যেখানে ইতিহাস খুবই পুরনো, বিশেষ করে এর স্থাপত্য। এখানকার স্থাপত্য হলো একটি গল্পের বইয়ের মতো, প্রাচীন সময় থেকে শুরু করে আজ পর্যন্ত অনেক রাজা, সাম্রাজ্য এবং সুন্দর ডিজাইনের গল্প।

অনেক আগে, বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন রাজবংশ শাসন করত। প্রতিটি রাজবংশ তাদের অসাধারণ স্থাপত্য কীর্তি রেখে গেছে যা আমরা আজও দেখতে পাই। তাদের মধ্যে অন্যতম হছে পাল সাম্রাজ্য, সেন রাজবংশ এবং মুঘল সাম্রাজ্য।

পাল সাম্রাজ্য:
পাল সাম্রাজ্য তাদের বিশাল বৌদ্ধ বিহারের জন্য বিখ্যাত ছিল। সবচেয়ে বিখ্যাত হলো পাহাড়পুরের সোমপুর মহাবিহার। এটি শিক্ষার কেন্দ্র ছিল এবং এর জটিল কারুকাজ এবং সুন্দর কাঠামো সহ দেখতে ছিল অত্যাশ্চর্য ।

সেন রাজবংশ:
পালের পরে সেন রাজবংশ শাসন বাংলাদেশ ​ করেছিল। তারা সুন্দর মন্দির এবং প্রাসাদ নির্মাণ করেছে। যার কিছু এখন টিকে আছে । দিনাজপুরের কান্তজী মন্দির তাদের একটি মাস্টারপিস। এই হিন্দু মন্দিরটি বিস্তারিত টেরাকোটার টাইলস দিয়ে ঢাকা যা প্রাচীন মিথের গল্প বলে।

মুঘল সাম্রাজ্য:
তারপর আসে মুঘলরা, যারা একেবারে নতুন একটি স্টাইল নিয়ে আসে। তারা চমৎকার দুর্গ, মসজিদ এবং প্রাসাদ নির্মাণ করে। ঢাকার লালবাগ কেল্লা একটি নিখুঁত উদাহরণ। এতে রয়েছে সবুজ বাগান, জলাধার এবং বড় হল। মুঘলরা লাল ইট এবং জটিল নকশা ব্যবহার করতে ভালোবাসত যা তাদের ভবনগুলোকে রাজকীয় দেখাতো।
