কিছু কথা বলতেও লজ্জা লাগে যে আজকাল উন্নয়নের জন্য মিছিল করতে হয়, সমাবেশ করতে হয় ।

প্রতিটা দেশের মানুষের জন্য সরকার নিজে থেকে উন্নয়ন মূলক কাজ করে যাতে সেই দেশের নাগরিক দের জীবন যাত্রার মান বৃদ্ধি পায় । আর আমাদের দেশে এর জন্য আন্দোলন করা লাগে ।

আসলে প্রবলেম হলো আমাদের সিলেকশন এ । আমরা যে জন প্রতিনিধি দের বাছাই করি উনারা তো আসলে দেশের ভিতর থাকে দুই দিন আর বাহিরে থাকে ১০ দিন তাই তারা এই গুলার মর্ম বুঝে না । যদি তারা আমাদের মতো ওই ওজোপাড়া গায়ে বসবাস করতেন তাইলে না বুঝতেন যে, হাজার হাজার মানুষ শুধু মাত্র যোগাযোগ বেবস্থা নেই বলে পথেই তাদের প্রাণ হারাইছেন ।

জীবনে বহুবার ফেরিতে, লঞ্চ এ মানুষ কে মরতে দেখেছি শুধু মাত্র সঠিক সময়এ প্রপার চিকিৎসা দিতে পারেনি তাই ।

বৃহত্তম দীপ এবং কুইন অফ আইল্যান্ড যাকে বলে, তাকেই আপনরা পুরো বাংলাদেশ থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন এবং সবচাইতে অবহেলিত করে রেখেছেন ।

না আছে কোনও মেডিক্যাল কলেজ না আছে ইউনিভার্সিটি না আছে প্রপার যোগাযোগ বেবস্থা । কিন্তু নেবার বেলায় আমরারই আগে ।

ভোলা বাসীরা গ্যাস পায় না কিন্তু ভোলার গ্যাস সবাই পায় । ভোলার বিদ্যুৎ ও সবাই পায় ।

আমাদের জন্য এইটা একটা লজ্জা যে, এমন একটা যৌক্তিক চাহিদার জন্য আমাদের আন্দোলন করা লাগে, রাস্তায় এসে দাঁড়াতে হয় ।
