Eid-ul-Adha comes around once a year, but the feeling it brings stays longer than that. The smell of the morning, the sound of takbeer echoing through the neighbourhood, the rush in the kitchen — it all feels like home. We sacrifice not just an animal, but a piece of our ego, our attachment, our want for more. That's what Ibrahim (A.S.) taught us. Today, we share meat, we share tables, we share laughter. And maybe that's the whole point — that giving always feels better than keeping. Eid Mubarak, from my home to yours. 🌙
