We are thrilled to share that 9-year-old Warisa Haider has made history by becoming Bangladesh’s youngest-ever 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 (WCM). 🥉

The Bangladesh Chess Federation officially received her WCM title certificate from FIDE, the international chess federation, last Monday. Typically, players must achieve a 2000 rating to earn this title.

Warisa secured 3rd place in the Under-8 Girls category at the 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 in Sri Lanka last year. Insightin Technology was honored to sponsor Warisa during the championship, recognizing her exceptional talent and potential.

While her performance qualified her for the title, she hadn’t yet reached the required rating of 1800 at that time. That milestone was proudly achieved this July, solidifying her place in history.
