NSU Computer and Engineering Club introduces Cybernauts’16, a platform for NSU students as well as
students from all over Bangladesh, where they can participate in National Programming Contest,
Gaming contest, show their talent of Robotics in Line Follower Contest including Project
Exhibition contest and enrich their creativity with IT Fair. Cybernauts, which means learning from
experience, as the name says, this event will enable our Bangladeshi Students to gather knowledge outside
the bookish syllabus and expose their talent to face global competitions.

ট্রাফিক আইনের তোয়াক্কা না করে গাড়ি নিয়ে যারা হরহামেশা উল্টোপথে ছুটে যান তাদের কপালে শনি আছে এবার। উল্টোদিক থেকে এলেই রাস্তাজুড়ে আড়াআড়ি পেতে রাখা বিশেষ ধরনের প্রতিরোধ ডিভাইস। ওই ডিভাইসের ডগায় বসানো পেরেকের মতো লোহার শলাকায় চাকা পাঙ্কচার হয়ে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবে গাড়ির চাকা।

ট্রাফিক আইন ভঙ্গকারীদের মুখের কথায় সামলাতে না পেরেই এই নীরব অ্যাকশনের ব্যবস্থা নিয়েছেন ঢাকা দক্ষিণ ট্রাফিক বিভাগ। উল্টোপথে আসা গাড়ি ঠেকাতে মাসখানেক আগে এই ডিভাইস বসানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হলেও শুক্রবার থেকে তা কার্যকর করা শুরু হয়েছে।

এই প্রতিরোধ ডিভাইস যন্ত্রের ধারালো কাঁটা ৪৫ মিলি মিটার পরপর বসানো হয়েছে। এটা রাস্তার ওপর সব সময় তিন ইঞ্চি উঁচু হয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকবে। সোজা দিক দিয়ে আসা গাড়ির চাকা এ ডিভাইসের ওপর চাপ দেওয়া মাত্রই ওই কাঁটাগুলো নিচু হয়ে গাড়িকে চলে যেতে দিবে। আর গাড়ি যাওয়ার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে কাঁটাগুলো আবার উচু হয়ে যাবে।
