Jakaria, from Chorkadai village in Sirajganj, became the first in his community to gain admission to BUET, securing 383rd place in the competitive EEE Department. Growing up in a landless farmer's family, he faced many hardships—limited resources, no private tuition, and relying on a shared smartphone for online classes.

Despite poverty, his father's illness, and lack of proper study space, Jakaria motivated himself through free online education and self-study, even tutoring others to make ends meet. On result day, with a nearly dead phone and poor network, he discovered he had made it, bringing tears of pride to his family—his journey a testament to perseverance and the transformative power of education.
