And here are the final outcome of the workshop arranged by Aalliance francaise de dhaka, Goethe-Institute Bangladesh in association with JuteLab and Studio Katra!

In the frame of a Franco-German cultural project with Alliance Française de Dhaka and Goethe-Institut Bangladesh, the Jute Lab, Studio Katra, and the 8 winners of the design contest got to reimagine two symbolic elements of the Bengali culture : the Rickshaw and the Khatiya modular table / bed. The two pieces of furniture were first modeled in 3D, then prototyped by the Jute Lab team out of jute fiber composite. Here finally the two finished pieces are revealed :) We are very proud to see this project coming to a beautiful end and great finish. So once again, a huge thank you to all of the people involved in it !
