🧵 Garments Quality Checkpoint – FINAL INSPECTION
📦 What is Final Inspection?
Final Inspection is the last quality check done before shipment. It ensures that all garments meet buyer standards in measurement, workmanship, labeling, and packing.
🔍 Main Checking Areas:
1️⃣ Measurement Check – Verify garment size as per the buyer spec sheet.
2️⃣ Workmanship Check – Look for defects like open seam, loose thread, or skipped stitch.
3️⃣ Appearance Check – Ensure proper ironing, folding, and finishing.
4️⃣ Label & Tag Check – All labels, tags, and barcodes are correctly placed.
5️⃣ Packing Check – Confirm assortment, poly, and carton as per packing instruction.
⚙️ AQL System (Acceptable Quality Level):
Usually inspection is done following AQL 2.5 or 4.0, depending on buyer requirement.
👉 Example: Out of 125 garments, if 7–8 are defective, shipment may still be accepted under AQL 2.5.
💡 Why It’s Important:
Final Inspection helps to:
✅ Maintain buyer trust
✅ Avoid shipment hold or claim
✅ Reduce rework and wastage
