π Proud to have completed the WHO SMART Guidelines Training Curriculum as part of the inaugural pilot cohort! π
π First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Asia eHealth Information Network (AeHIN) for nominating me and opening the door to this remarkable learning opportunity."
πOver 4.5 weeks (February 24 β March 26, 2026), I joined 42 digital health professionals from 18 countries across Asia and Africa to deepen our understanding of how WHO's SMART Guidelines framework can transform health systems through standardized, interoperable digital health tools.
π€ The curriculum covered critical ground across 8 modules β from SMART Guideline governance and readiness assessment, to developing national roadmaps, adapting Digital Adaptation Kits (DAKs), implementing FHIR-based standards, and leading change management in health organizations.
βοΈ This training was co-organized by WHO and the Digital Initiatives Group (DIGI) at the University of Washington, in partnership with AeHIN, HELINA, and GIZ β a truly global collaboration to build sustainable digital health capacity in low- and middle-income countries.
π I finished as a standout performer on the leaderboard in the WHO SMART Guidelines pilot training. The certificate I received reflects not just completion but strong commitment for future contribution."
π‘ As a Digital Health professional based in Bangladesh, I'm motivated to apply this knowledge to help advance SMART Guidelines implementation β bridging global standards with local health system needs.
π The future of digital health is interoperable, standards-based, and people-centered. SMART Guidelines are a key part of making that vision a reality.
