RTMI Nursing College successfully organized a community visit for the B.Sc. in Nursing 3rd Year students as part of their academic curriculum. This program was designed to provide students with real-life experience and practical knowledge by engaging directly with the rural community.

The visit took place at 1 No. Madhoppur Government Primary School, Komolganj, Moulvibazar, Sylhet. During the program, students actively interacted with local people, especially children. They shared important health knowledge, awareness, and basic care practices in a simple and friendly manner.

This community visit helped the students gain valuable hands-on experience. They learned about real-life health challenges in rural areas and understood the importance of communication, empathy, and community service in the nursing profession.

The program was conducted under the guidance and supervision of our respected teachers. Our lecturers — Mr. Mohesh Biswas, Mr. Himaloy Roy, Mr. Anik Dev Nath, Mst. Shakila Begum, Ms. Toma Roy Chowdhury, and Ms. Fahima Rahman Poly — along with our Clinical Instructor Mst. Mokta Chowdhury, accompanied the students throughout the visit and provided necessary support and direction.

RTMI Nursing College believes in combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience. This type of community-based learning plays a vital role in developing skilled, responsible, and compassionate healthcare professionals.

আরটিএমআই নার্সিং কলেজের বিএসসি ইন নার্সিং ৩য় বর্ষের শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য পাঠ্যক্রমের অংশ হিসেবে একটি কমিউনিটি ভিজিট সফলভাবে আয়োজন করা হয়। এই কর্মসূচির মূল উদ্দেশ্য ছিল শিক্ষার্থীদের বাস্তব জীবনের অভিজ্ঞতা ও ব্যবহারিক জ্ঞান অর্জনের সুযোগ করে দেওয়া, যাতে তারা সরাসরি গ্রামীণ জনগোষ্ঠীর সঙ্গে কাজ করতে পারে।

উক্ত ভিজিটটি অনুষ্ঠিত হয় ১ নং মাধবপুর সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়, কমলগঞ্জ, মৌলভীবাজার, সিলেট-এ। কর্মসূচির সময় শিক্ষার্থীরা স্থানীয় জনগণের সঙ্গে, বিশেষ করে শিশুদের সঙ্গে আন্তরিকভাবে যোগাযোগ স্থাপন করে। তারা সহজ ও বোধগম্য উপায়ে স্বাস্থ্য সচেতনতা, প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা এবং প্রয়োজনীয় পরিচর্যা সম্পর্কে জ্ঞান প্রদান করে।

এই কমিউনিটি ভিজিট শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতা অর্জনের সুযোগ তৈরি করে। এর মাধ্যমে তারা গ্রামীণ এলাকার স্বাস্থ্যসংক্রান্ত বাস্তব সমস্যাগুলো সম্পর্কে ধারণা লাভ করে এবং একজন দক্ষ নার্স হিসেবে প্রয়োজনীয় যোগাযোগ দক্ষতা, সহমর্মিতা ও সেবামূলক মনোভাব গড়ে তুলতে সক্ষম হয়।

উক্ত কর্মসূচিতে আমাদের সম্মানিত শিক্ষকবৃন্দ সার্বিকভাবে দিকনির্দেশনা ও তত্ত্বাবধান প্রদান করেন। আমাদের প্রিয় প্রভাষকবৃন্দ— জনাব মোহেশ বিশ্বাস, জনাব হিমালয় রায়, জনাব অনিক দেব নাথ, মিস শাকিলা বেগম, মিস তোমা রায় চৌধুরী এবং মিস ফাহিমা রহমান পলি—এবং ক্লিনিক্যাল ইনস্ট্রাক্টর মিস মোক্তা চৌধুরী শিক্ষার্থীদের সঙ্গে উপস্থিত থেকে সার্বিক সহযোগিতা প্রদান করেন।

আরটিএমআই নার্সিং কলেজ বিশ্বাস করে যে তাত্ত্বিক জ্ঞানের পাশাপাশি ব্যবহারিক অভিজ্ঞতা একজন দক্ষ ও মানবিক স্বাস্থ্যসেবাকর্মী গড়ে তুলতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে। এ ধরনের কমিউনিটি-ভিত্তিক শিক্ষামূলক কার্যক্রম শিক্ষার্থীদের পেশাগত দক্ষতা উন্নয়নে সহায়ক।
