Fresh avocados in our cold store!

One of our dedicated cooling rooms is currently filled with avocados.

Unlike bananas, avocados require much lower storage temperatures. To preserve their quality, they are kept at around 5.5°C. Thanks to our separate cooling units, we can create tailor-made climate conditions for every product we handle.

The avocados currently in our warehouse come from Peru, one of the world's leading avocado producers. With an annual production of more than 866,000 tonnes, Peru ranks third globally, behind Colombia and Mexico.

Different products require different conditions. Providing the right environment for each of them is what our cold store is designed to do.
