It’s been a few months since we released Night City Life II but thankfully we continue to receive photos from the artists that were included on the album which is always a pleasure.

Here we have Glavidio aka Claudio D’Ignoti whose debut single Anche Per Noi was picked up by from a collector many years ago, long before it became the sought after record it is now. Released in 1982 on Belgium label Mondial, this is a beautiful piece of Italo with a superb bass line.

Three years in the making, Night City Life II is finally released today on 2LP Gatefold Vinyl and Digital featuring 14 tracks of rare Italo b-sides and hard-to-find synth-pop gems.

The beautifully designed gatefold LP includes liner notes from compiler as well as extensive track histories from some of the artists themselves.

This one has been another of those true labours of love made possible by a great team so huge shouts to Ilan for his tireless and unique digging skills, for yet another stunning gatefold design, Peter Beckmann for his superb restoration and mastering skills, for keeping the creative vision on track and to Simon (Leng) & Paul (Claremont 56) for turning these ideas into a reality.

It’s finally (almost) here, our latest compilation :: Traces of Illusion compiled by Skyrager

All our releases are labours of love and require a significant investment of time, effort and love but this new compilation from Danny has taken these to new extremes having first started the project back at the beginning of lockdown 2020.

Just over 3 years on and a myriad of obstacles overcome we’re excited to finally share some, if not all, of the details surrounding this forthcoming compilation.

Traces of Illusion is another significant milestone in the history of Spacetalk and another deeply personal selection from Danny.

His ability to dig up nuggets and compile them into beautifully designed, crisp sounding collections needs little introduction, you just know the quality will be high but for now we’re keeping the tracklist under wraps.
