Here's our latest and greatest build so far. We made this custom VW t2 photo booth for from scratch.

The goal was to do things differently compared to standard photo booths. We wanted to create the perfect mix of design and functionality.

The left hand side of the main enclosure is mostly square while the right hand side contrasts this with gentle art deco inspired curves to soften the overall aesthetics and create an interesting piece. We raised the module up from the ground to make appear lighter and give it a homely feeling.

We got to try a few new techniques which allowed us to use bent plywood, laminate plexiglass in between wood layers, use magnets for clever invisible wire management, custom LED light effects by Walravens Bert 😍 ...

I think this one will definitely serve as a guide for more projects to come. What do you think?

Even though we cut our furniture with José (our cnc) this doesn't mean things just pop out of nowhere. Here's a behind the scenes look into how we designed a standing table resembling a hoogspanningsmast 😉 for Eneco from scratch. After the design is done it needs to be translated into code that the cnc understands with the correct settings for speed, depth of cut, rpm, ... . When that's done you get your cutouts and the sanding, gluing and finishing can begin!

Our very first Outdoor project is taking shape nicely.

We're stepping away from traditional swings and playhouses that can be used for just a few years. Instead we're moving towards something that's more future proof and can grow with the family for many years to come.

From a basic swingset and playhouse it will evolve to be a little man's cabin where learning and experenting wil be stimulated and summer nights sleepovers can be held with friends.

The structure needed to be accessible from various levels and angles so there's many "game flow" options to allow for maxim creativity.
Hence the hidden door in the floor, acces to an outside deck connecting to a deck, slide.

Adults should also be able to use it to play with kids and take advantage of the shape and strength for outdoor home workouts.
