Some sets live only in memory — until you get the chance to bring them back to life.

This mix is a re-creation of my Nachtmakers set from a few months ago (link underneath). That night I played on 4x CDJ-3000s, which gave me the freedom to constantly weave in extra layers: oriental sounds, familiar echoes & deep grooves. Now, thanks to the 4-deck XDJ-AZ — and to Soundrent for letting me try out this beautiful controller — I was finally able to capture that fiery energy again.

It’s a heavier one - more party, less radio — but still with the same love and intention, and of course, with my typical chakra sequence 🥰

Tonight I have a very special set coming up on the radio ✨💜

Recorded on a red sand dune during a little desert party around sunset, overlooking two mysterious & iconic ‘rocks’: Uluru & Kata Tjuṯa 🧡

Uluru is the biggest single-standing monolith in the world (and probably the most famous rock 🫣), and even though Kata Tjuṯa is less well known, the energy emanating from that place is beyond words!

This set turned out to be a very tribal one, like going back to the roots (or root chakra) thanks to the energy of these sacred places. It carries a very deep, tribal energy, only rising through the chakras near the end.

And a little personal note: it's my birthday today, so having this special set aired on the radio today - how amazing 🙏🏼🥳
