Ha this is a new one to me. They’re native to East and South Africa. Its name means "earth-wolf" and they eat termites. They have a habit of secreting substances from its a**l gland, a characteristic shared with the African civet. One aardwolf can lap up as many as 300,000 termites during a single night using its long, sticky tongue. They are most closely related to hyenas.
