Recently a client asked me the following question: Mendel, I greatly appreciate what you do and the enthusiasm you put into it for this project, but you know, I still have a lot of application projects in mind that I would like to develop in the long term, but I don't especially want to have shopify applications. You know very well that Shopify is not the only one that offers a web application marketplace. Tell me what you think. I am open to your proposals.

You can make loads of money by selling shopify store owner apps as solutions.
But there are other platforms where you can do it.
I'll give you the list.

1 - Striped
It's a payment processor, and you can build apps that will appear on their marketplace.

You can do:

- Accounting apps
- Billing apps
- Analytics
- etc.

2 - Crisp
It's a customer support tool and has its own marketplace for apps.

You can build apps for:

- Automation
- CRM
- etc...

3 - Slack
Slack is a communication tool

You can build apps to improve:

- communication
- Analytics
- Productivity
- etc.

4 - Google Chrome
Chrome is a browser, and you can create web extensions people can use directly in their browser

5-Hubspot

HubSpot is a CRM platform

You can build apps to improve marketing (Sales, Productivity, CS, etc)

6 - Zendesk

Zendesk is a CRM tool, and you can build apps for:

- Marketing
- Productivity
-Feedback
- Thrilled
- Etc

7 - Monday

Monday is a project management tool

You can build apps for:

- CRM
- Marketing
- Analytics
-Management
- etc.

You can do so much with code when you know it. The essential skill to be able to create applications under these platforms is API integration. You must absolutely learn API integration, otherwise you will not be able to create your applications under these platforms.
