Part of our Orientation activity is to take all the students to the International Language Exchange - Mundolingo where students are able to meet locals and other people who wants to practice languages.
Brazilians love this activity because is an opportunity for them to practice English and for our students Portuguese. It is a nice activity for create connections with locals.

OC and LA students visited Petropolis city also known as The Imperial City.
town's name ("city of Peter") honors Pedro II, the last Emperor of Brazil, who is entombed there at the Cathedral of Saint Peter of Alcantara.The city was the summer residence of the Brazilian Emperors and aristocrats in the 19th century, and was the official capital of the state of Rio de Janeiro during the First Brazilian Republic, between 1894 and 1902.
