Today, we had the honor of welcoming 11 new members into the GCIT Rovers family during our Investiture Ceremony. It was a significant occasion as our newest members pledged their dedication to the values of scouting and service. The event was filled with excitement and we wrapped up the ceremony with a small tea session. We eagerly anticipate the journey ahead with our new rovers, as we continue to grow and serve with passion!

Tabar Nye Chronicles: A Day of Gratitude, Work, and Spiritual Discovery
On September 30th, the rovers of Gyalpozhing College of Information Technology embarked on a journey to Tabar Nye to aid in the construction of the Lhakhang—a place of profound spiritual significance. This day turned out to be a blend of hard work, gratitude, and spiritual enlightenment.
Arriving amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Tabar Nye, we were immediately struck by the serene surroundings, a perfect backdrop for the day's meaningful activities.
Before we began our work, we expressed our gratitude for the sponsors who had provided us with delicious food. A hearty meal not only nourished our bodies but also underscored the significance of community support.
Our collective efforts in constructing the Lhakhang created a sense of unity and purpose. We realized that our work was contributing to the creation of a sacred space for spiritual practice and connection, leaving us with a profound sense of fulfillment.
After completing our work, a kind monk from Tabar Nye shared the place's history and spiritual significance. We learned about the ancient rituals and traditions that have been upheld for generations. This storytelling immersed us in the rich cultural heritage of Bhutan and the importance of preserving our traditions.
As the day drew to a close, we marveled at the tranquil beauty of Tabar Nye, feeling a deep sense of peace and connection to the land. It was a poignant reminder of the importance of preserving such natural wonders and sacred spaces for future generations.
Our trip to Tabar Nye was a day of gratitude, community, and spiritual insight. It reminded us of the power of working together for a higher purpose and the beauty that can be found in both hard work and spiritual connection.
