དེ་ཡང་ ལྷུག་པའི་སྐབས་ རྗེས་འཇུག་(ག)་ཡིག་གི་མཐའ་མར་ ཤད་ གཅིག་ངེས་པར་དུ་རྐྱབ་དགོ་པའི་ཁར་ ཚིགས་བཅད་ཀྱི་སྐབས་འབད་བ་ཅིན་ གཞན་མ་གཞི་གཉིས་ཤད་རྐྱབ་སྲོལ་ཡོད་རུང་ རྗེས་

The MoESD Minister shared that during their Zoom meeting on education plans and budget with the Dzongkhags, Thromdes, and Gewogs, a request was made for 30% of the block grant budget to be allocated to Sherig. Based on the report, the Minister highlighted the following spending patterns from the Thromdes:
1. Gelephu Thromde spent only 2% in 2024–2025 and 3% in 2025–2026 from their total block grant.
2. Phuntsholing Thromde spent 8% in 2024–2025 and 19% in 2025–2026.
3. Samdrup Jongkhar Thromde spent 6% in 2024–2025 and 22% in 2025–2026.
4. Thimphu Thromde was the highest among the Thromdes, spending 30% in 2024–2025 and 40% in 2025–2026 on Sherig.
Among the Dzongkhags and Gewogs, only Trashigang and Trashiyangtse reported the highest spending in Sherig.
Therefore, the Minister further stated that the Nu. 4.5 billion allocated to Local Governments for Sherig may need to be returned to the Ministry so that it can be redistributed based on actual needs.
