Bridge To Bhutan

Wishing a very Happy Thanksgiving! to all our American guests turned friends. On this joyous day, we wish to take the opportunity to thank you for counting on us to offer you a memorable vacation in one of the most unique places on the planet.

Majority of our guests are from the U.S. and on behalf of our country, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for choosing Bhutan. Much of the tour cost goes directly to the government as Sustainable Development Fee “SDF” of US$100 per person per night (as of now) which goes towards continued free health & education, and environmental conservation projects. This price prohibitive but protective policy of ours has successfully allowed our country to remain as an authentic magical place. And companies like ours (albeit small & family run) continue to lobby for this “high value; low volume” approach to sustainable tourism and contribute quite a bit to the government exchequer.
A case in point: In the month of October alone, we hosted over dozen groups and contributed a whopping US$119,200/- as SDF to the government. Thanks to our friends from California, NYC, Colorado, Florida, Austria, Germany, Spain. Singapore, Israel etc.

1937-2024: Dear George, I still can’t wrap my head around that you are no more among us. But your forever youthful spirit, endless adventures, mental strength, words of wisdom & compassionate actions will guide us & remain as an everyday inspiration at all times and we will continue to not let you down as you keep watching over us. 🙏🙏🙏
