So in my last post I didn't say much about being a child chaperone, I just introduced myself as one.

Let me take it a bit further on this post.

When schools close most kids stay at home watching TV, some visit their grandparents. But most of them stay at home with nothing to do except watching TV, playing video games and some playing with their parents phones and that's it. Schools open and then they are back to school.

But what if I can tell you that you can actually play a big part in shaping these kids lives by being a chaperone.

Let me tell you a story, on the 22nd of December 2025. I took some kids to attend Botswood films, kids acting Masterclass..I called up their parents and said to them "I need your children on the 22nd of December to attend an event for kids hosted by Botswood films", I then sent the parents all the information about the event. I also told them what I required from them as parents, food and transport for both me and the kids and they obliged.

The day came and parents dropped the kids at the location, I spent the whole day with them in acting classes. From 9am until past 4pm, it was an amazing experience and they all enjoyed it.

Why am i sharing this information with you? Because you too can become a child chaperone and you charge for it. So many events that concern the kids are hosted around Botswana every year. Acting classes, fitness events, mental health, public speaking, art classes, finance seminars just to name a few and you will find that kids need all these as a way of personal development but they are not able to because parents are either busy or there is lack of knowledge in how these workshops or seminars can benefit the kids.

BE THE ONE TO CHANGE THAT, AND FILL THE GAP. 😍😍😍YOU ARE AN EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER AND YOU LOVE WORKING WITH KIDS.

Take it a step further, step in and chaperone the kids into their personal development journey.

What a great day it was , by the time it was done we were empowered and ready to kick start our financial literacy journey.
