VACANCY: TRAINEE/INTERN DIESEL MECHANIC

We are currently looking for a Trainee/Intern Mechanic to join our team and support the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a fleet of heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience and receive mentorship to develop their technical skills, specifically in the freight and logistics industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting in identifying and resolving mechanical issues on vehicles;
- Supporting the replacement of key vehicle components, such as engines, transmissions, and braking systems;
- Helping with the general and preventative maintenance of vehicles;
- Maintaining accurate records of serviced vehicles and inventory;
- Adhering to inspection procedures and ensuring the cleanliness of the workshop.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Enrolled or recently graduated from a relevant mechanical trade programme;
- Previous experience or knowledge of vehicle systems is an advantage;
- Valid driver’s license.

No prior work experience required—this position is ideal for candidates looking to gain practical experience in the field of diesel mechanics.

We are urgently seeking a Customs Clearance Agent to join freight and logistics team. This is a critical role for immediate placement, and only experienced candidates will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Relevant tertiary qualification;
- Valid and clean Driver’s License;
- Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience with BURS and SARS (EasyClear system);
- Proven experience in framing import, export, temporary, and bonded cargo declarations, and preparing and submitting transit (B22) documentation;
- Knowledge of Customs & Excise regulations, procedures, and documentation (BW & RSA);
- High level of accuracy, organization, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
