Confirmed| As reported early this morning, about 92 buffaloes drowned in the Chobe river at Kavimba village, in the Kabulabula area of Kabbe South in Zambezi Region. NBC have reported that the buffaloes were running away from lions that were chasing them from one of the islands in Botswana. This is the third time buffaloes are drowning in the same area. In 2018 over 400 buffaloes drowned, while in 2023 over a hundred buffaloes also trampled each other.
