We are pleased to be part of the University of Botswana Annual Degree Show 2026, taking place today, 9 June 2026 at 1400hrs.
Held under the theme,
“Bridging the Industrial Skills Gap through Research, Digital Transformation, and Social Inclusion for Resilient Economic Growth,”
This event showcases 58 student-led projects that highlight the critical role of innovation in addressing Botswana’s evolving skills and workforce needs.
As part of the Industry Roundtable discussions, Dr. Oabona Enock Nthebolang, Director of Human Resource Development Planning at HRDC, will represent the Council. His participation reflects HRDC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening human capital development and ensuring alignment between education outcomes and labour market demands.
Through engagements of this nature, HRDC continues to support collaboration between academia and industry in building a skilled, future-ready workforce for Botswana.

Not every form of progress looks dramatic. Sometimes growth is choosing discipline, staying consistent and refusing to give up on yourself.
Across Gaborone, Francistown and Maun, the BHRDS Fair & Career Clinics 2026 brought together learners, institutions and stakeholders around guidance, growth and opportunity.
Thank you to everyone who attended, and to all who played a part in making it happen.
