Meet Coach Kabo

Coach Kabo joined Propellers Sports Academy in October 2025 as a Learn-to-Swim Coach. With a strong background in healthcare and athlete development, he brings a structured, supportive, and safety-focused approach to every session.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Care, providing him with valuable expertise in swimmer safety, risk management, and emergency response within aquatic environments. His coaching philosophy centers on building water confidence, developing sound swimming technique, and supporting long-term skill progression for swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Committed to creating a safe and positive learning environment, Coach Kabo has completed Aquatic Rescue Training and Safeguarding Level 1 certification. These qualifications reinforce his dedication to athlete wellbeing both in and out of the pool.

Before transitioning into coaching, Coach Kabo was actively involved in rugby, where he developed the discipline, teamwork, and resilience that continue to shape his coaching style today. He is passionate about helping swimmers achieve their goals while fostering confidence, enjoyment, and a lifelong love of the water.
