The Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (“NBFIRA”) hereby informs members of the public that Devon (Pty) Ltd t/a Lesedi Funeral Parlour (“Lesedi Funeral Parlour”) is not licensed to operate as a Non-Bank Financial Institution as required by the Insurance Industry Act.

NBFIRA is aware that Lesedi Funeral Parlour has approached members of the public offering services wherein they provide underwritten insurance products in the form of funeral cover policies. Members of the public are advised not to transact any insurance business, including funeral schemes, with Lesedi Funeral Parlour.
