At the special information session hosted by the Botswana Digital & Innovation Hub (BDIH) in partnership with The MIT Kuo Sharper Center for Prosperity and Entrepreneurship, our CEO, Kenneth Setimela, shared insights on entrepreneurship, resilience, and building scalable tech ventures in Botswana.

From startup beginnings to sustainable growth, his journey reflects a simple truth, real impact comes from building solutions that work.

That same thinking drives JobPoint.ai, a product of Leverage Point, reimagining recruitment by helping employers manage high volumes of applications while giving job seekers clearer visibility through structured profiles.

Football jerseys, laughter, chants, and a proper Guard of Honour.

Yesterday, the team came together to celebrate our two resident Arsenal fans after Arsenal’s Premier League triumph in true football fashion. From the walk-in to the energy in the office, it was all good vibes, banter, and team spirit.

Moments like these remind us that beyond the work, it’s the culture, camaraderie, and shared excitement that make the workplace special.

Now all eyes turn to tonight’s UEFA Champions League Final. Wishing both teams the very best for a great match under the lights.

The AFTRA 2026 Cultural Night was more than an evening of music, dance, and celebration, it was a powerful reminder that while Africa may speak in many voices, it moves with one spirit.

Held as part of the 13th AFTRA Conference & 15th Roundtable taking place from 5th–9th May 2026 at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC), the evening beautifully reflected the conference theme: Recasting Teaching as a Collaborative Profession: Implications for Africa.

From the vibrant attire and rich cultural cuisine to the electrifying performances from Botswana, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Madagascar, Zambia, Angola, Namibia, and Seychelles, the night became a living expression of unity through diversity.

What unfolded was not just entertainment, but connection, nations sharing stories, traditions, rhythms, and identity under one roof in Gaborone.

Seeing Honourable Minister Nono Kgafela-Mokoka and Assistant Minister Honourable Justin Chipo Hunyepa join in the celebrations alongside delegates captured the true essence of the evening: Africa together, beyond borders.

The performances from local icons Dr Vom, Han C, and Bana Bana BaNtogwa brought an unmistakably Botswana heartbeat to the night, warm, vibrant, and unforgettable.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Botswana Teaching Professionals Council (BOTEPCO) for hosting such a remarkable and meaningful evening, and for creating a platform that continues to strengthen cultural exchange, collaboration, and continental unity through AFTRA 2026.
