*TO SPEAK IN THE SPIRIT or TO SPEAK IN TONGUES

The message focused on the importance of being filled with the Holy Spirit and praying in the Spirit through speaking in tongues.

In Matthew 6:9, Jesus taught the traditional pattern of prayer ("Our Father"), but Luke 17:21 reveals a deeper reality for believers, that the Kingdom of God is within you. As born-again believers, prayer is not only directed toward God in heaven but also flows from the presence of God within us.

Prayer is a spiritual journey, and there are realms that human understanding alone cannot reach. Spiritual prayer, empowered by the Holy Spirit, is able to pe*****te every realm. Speaking in tongues is not a new phenomenon; it has existed since biblical times. The prophet Isaiah foresaw it in Isaiah 28:10-11, referring to God speaking through "stammering lips and another tongue."

The main scripture was 1 Corinthians Chapter 14, which teaches about speaking in tongues. Believers are encouraged to allow the Holy Spirit to enable them to speak in tongues.
