Five years ago, I had a vision to create a platform where creatives in Botswana could engage, brainstorm, ideate, connect, and collaborate to uplift the creative industry. The initial turnout was modest, as it was a new venture, and I wasn't certain how it would be received. However, inspired by Habbakuk 2:2 ("And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it."), I wrote down the vision and stayed committed to it.
Fast forward to today, and I am thrilled to share the incredible progress we’ve made. This year, Creative Connect partnered with the Ministry of Entrepreneurship, local creatives, and even international creatives who premiered their TV shows globally for the first time right here in Botswana. This milestone is a testament to what can be achieved when we shift from merely talking about collaboration to actively making it happen.
Creative Connect continues to strive towards creating meaningful impact. We are driven not just by passion but by a deeper purpose to transform the creative industry.
