The AFCON that started before our own festive tournament has finally come to an end ⏳⚽. Congratulations to Senegal 🇸🇳 clearly the football gods were fully involved 🙏😌.
We’re hearing some noise from teams from our festive tournament that have never tasted victory 🏆❌, now suddenly experts in behaviour 🤓, comparing the mighty Sbamu to Senegal 😏.

Honestly, we’re honoured 😂👏. If our behaviour is being compared to that of the Teranga Lions 🦁, then it simply confirms that Sbamu operates in elite company 💪🔥.

All we ask is simple: referees should stop taking sides 🚫🎭, let the game speak ⚽🎯 People come to watch football, not poor officiating ❌🧑‍⚖️, not games decided by whistles, and definitely not results decided at the tables 📋🚫.

The year 2025 brought challenges for many, particularly in light of prevailing economic conditions. We remain deeply grateful for the unity, support, and enthusiasm shown to the club during the festive season and throughout the year. 💪❤️

As a football club that traditionally participates in December festive tournaments, the new year presents an opportunity for reflection, planning, and renewal. As part of our planning for the year ahead, the club is reflecting internally on recent experiences and lessons learned. 📝

In 2026, SBAMU will prioritize meaningful and structured engagement with all stakeholders, especially our supporters, who remain the backbone and primary stakeholders of the club. 👥 Their guidance, perspectives, and collective wisdom will be crucial in shaping the club’s direction going forward.

The tournament has concluded under unfortunate circumstances. Nevertheless, the club remains proud to have fulfilled its commitment to present a team of the highest footballing quality. Despite a slow start to the competition, the team showed character and resilience to advance to the finals. Regrettably, due to unsatisfactory officiating, the final did not reach its proper conclusion, despite our team leading 2–1 at the time ⚽.

The club acknowledges that it cannot be universally supported, as football naturally attracts differing opinions and emotions. However, we strongly reaffirm that integrity, fairness, and professionalism are non-negotiable principles of the game 🤝.
