ACTS 12:12

What is an open door?

1. An open door is a channel through which God changes the story of a believer.
2. An open door is a platform for turn around
3. An open door is an opportunity given to a believer to be better than his peers.

Four reasons why your door must open.
1. If your door does not open, you will die unfulfilled.
Anywhere you are expecting an open door, there is always somebody at the door waiting.
For a door to open, there must be a corresponding action.
2. So that you won't remain a laughing stock. Luke 1:36-37. Only open doors can hinder insults.
3. Your doors must open, so that you can be a blessing to others. Genesis 13:14-15. There are people tied to you, if you don't rise, they will never rise. Your door must open so that you can be a god to some people.
4. Your doors must open so that you can break your family record. 1Kings 5:1-5. The earlier your doors open, the earlier you fulfill your desires here on earth.

There are two categories of people
1. People whose doors have never been open before.
2. People whose doors weee open before but have been closed.
An open door produces another open door. Nothing makes life sweet like an open door. When God chooses to open your door, your qualifications does not count. A stagnant life is a life who's doors have never been open. Rising and falling is an evidence of a closed door. When doors are open, life becomes easy. Psalms 44:3. When doors are open, your small salary will look big. When doors are open, people will be praying your prayer while you enjoy the harvest. I declare open doors in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.

DEALING WITH THE ENEMY OF YOUR ENLARGEMENT

(2 KINGS 6:2) Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.

It takes the power of the covenant to be emancipated in our world that is full of evil control and manipulation by the enemy. As much as enlargement is God’s will and intention for your life, it will not just manifest easily. There is a fierce battle you must fight to secure and enter your enlargement.

Enemies of Enlargement
1. Egocentrism: Egocentrism borders on acts of self-centeredness. You must live beyond yourself. No matter your level, you must give yourself a mission to affect others positively. Without the desire to reach out to other people and be a blessing to them, it is impossible for you to experience enlargement. Life is like a farm land. The more you give, the more you harvest. Christ who is our perfect example has already set the pace for us to follow. It was by His death that He harvested the sons of men for God. ‘What are you giving to your generation?’ If all you get is for yourself, your family, your children, your friends, etc, you are living a life with no guarantees of profitable enlargement. A life that will enjoy the dividends of fulfilment is a life that is purposeful about being a blessing to others.

2. The Past: It is impossible to enlarge without dealing with the past and its shadows. The past is a stronghold. Whether the past is good or bad, you must step beyond it and grow higher. The emotional, psychological, environmental and spiritual issues which flow from their past. Approach life from a future perspective so that you can see the boundless hope of a profitable tomorrow.

Other enemies you must deal with are evil enchantments, wrong foundations operating by a false spirit and the power of deception. Give yourself to prayer. Break the band of affliction from off your neck. You shall rise, expand and grow very great in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Approach life from a future perspective so that you can see the boundless hope of a profitable tomorrow.

Prayer: Any wrong power holding me down by manifesting through my shortcomings and wrong habits, right now, I command you in the name of Jesus Christ, scatter. I break your hold and influence over me in Jesus name. Amen.
