Fun Fact Thursday is here! 🦜✨

Meet the Belize Yellow-Headed Parrot (Amazona oratrix belizensis)! Known as the "feathered DJ" of the rainforest, these chatty birds are famous for mimicking sounds. While they are currently endangered, Programme for Belize is working hard at Rio Bravo to guard their nests and protect their habitat.

Help us keep these colorful icons thriving! 💚🇧🇿

🐆 Spotted at Hill Bank!

Look who decided to make a guest appearance! On Wednesday, February 11th, we were lucky enough to witness this incredible jaguar roaming near the Hill Bank Field Station.

Seeing these majestic big cats in their natural habitat is always a powerful reminder of why our conservation work is so vital. It’s their world—we’re just visiting!

A huge shout-out to our Assistant Head Ranger, Davis Yama, for being quick enough to capture this breathtaking moment. 📸

Stay wild, Belize!
