Long before modern megacities existed, an extraordinary civilization built a capital in the middle of a lake.
This city was Tenochtitlan, the heart of the Aztec Empire.
Founded in 1325 on an island in Lake Texcoco, the city developed into one of the largest and most sophisticated urban centers of its time. Instead of traditional roads, canals ran through the city and people often traveled by canoe.
The surrounding waters were transformed into highly productive floating agricultural fields known as chinampas. These floating gardens allowed the population to grow food efficiently and sustainably.
By the early 16th century, Tenochtitlan had become a thriving metropolis with massive temples, bustling marketplaces, and an estimated population of more than 200,000 people.
It was a remarkable achievement of engineering, agriculture, and urban planning — built entirely on water.
Today, Mexico City stands where this extraordinary civilization once flourished.
Learning about ancient cities like Tenochtitlan reminds us how advanced and innovative human societies have always been.

The robot isn’t the problem.
Our interpretation is.
Humanoid robotics and AI systems are advancing rapidly.
But the real question is not whether machines become more capable.
The real question is:
Are we becoming more competent?
AI does not automatically create instability.
A lack of AI literacy does.
Instead of fear-driven narratives, we need:
• Education
• Governance frameworks
• Responsible deployment
• Media literacy
Technology evolves.
Society must evolve with it.
That’s why I focus not only on AI content creation —
but increasingly on AI education and digital competence.
Because the future will not be decided by machines.
It will be decided by how well humans understand them.
