The Punta Gorda Public Library, in collaboration with the Punta Gorda Town Council, is excited to announce its 2nd Annual Intermediate Crochet Classes!

Have you already learned the basics of crochet? Ready to take your skills to the next level? This class is designed exclusively for participants with prior crochet experience. Please note that this is not a beginner's class—participants should already know the basic stitches and techniques.

🌱📚 Week 1 of "Plant Di Seed, Mek Wi Read" was a wonderful success! 📚🌱

Our campers kicked off their summer adventure with exciting interactive story time, engaging literacy games, creative arts and crafts, team-building activities, music, movement, and lots of fun. Throughout the week, they explored new stories, made new friends, built their confidence, and discovered that reading can be both educational and enjoyable.

It was inspiring to watch our young readers learn, laugh, and grow together as they planted the seeds for a lifelong love of reading. We are proud of all they accomplished during the first week and look forward to even more exciting activities ahead!

Our Easter activity at the library was a wonderful success! The space was filled with laughter, creativity, and the joy of learning as children participated in story reading, games, and fun Easter-themed activities.
