In northern Ethiopia, more than six million people live in a region where evangelical Christians are a tiny minority.

For many who choose to follow Jesus, faith comes with a cost. New believers can face rejection, opposition, and the loss of important relationships as they embrace a personal relationship with Christ.
Yet the Church continues to grow.

“The Church was born at Pentecost without buildings, and the Church will survive without them.”

A partner church in Ukraine was destroyed last weekend after previously being rebuilt following the 2022 invasion.

A few weeks ago, participants from across North America and Europe gathered for the final phase of the FOCUS internship journey. 🌍

After spending time at the lake being refreshed and debriefing together through CRAFT, they headed to Winnipeg for “Clarifying Your Call,” a time of prayerful discernment around vocation, vision, and next steps in mission.

FOCUS is an eight-month missional readiness and discernment internship designed to equip everyday disciples to live missionally. Following two months of training and equipping, participants spend six months engaging with unreached communities and putting Disciple Making Movement principles into practice.

The journey concludes with intentional reflection and discernment, helping each participant move forward with greater clarity, deeper conviction, and practical tools for a lifelong commitment to joining Jesus in revealing His kingdom on earth.

“We get to spend time in a community of like-minded people who are motivated to serve the Lord around the world.” 🤝
