Call up a friend and tell them to head into the city and meet you in the beautiful place called Gastown!
Start your evening with the most incredible vegan dishes Meet in Gastown! I’m not vegan, but this is still where I go to get some of the tastiest burgers! After dinner take a walk up and down the streets of Gastown. There are so many cute shops like The Latest Scoop, OAK + FORT, Nettle's Tale Swimwear Inc. and more!

#12 A Date to Plan
January is the month of goals and intent, but it is also a month of cold, rainy and snowy nights in BC. This is a date that you can do at home on the couch or even in your bed!
Start with gathering all of your colourful pens, notebooks, journals and planners! Then take turns with your significant other(or bestie) and accountability partner, sharing your top goals for this year. Start small, then dream big! When you start to get hungry you won’t even have to worry about going out and braving the cold, because SkipTheDishes will do all of that work for you! Just choose your favourite foods and spend that time eating with your favourite person in the warmth of your home!

#11 New Year Kickstart
Back with another healthy and fun date that will help make all of your 2019 goals happen!
Start your date with a trip to Glory Juice Co. for some guiltless snacks and delicious juices! They have so many choices, so I’m sure you will find something you’ll love! Then make your way over to Nordstrom to pick up that new pair of runners or athletic tights you need to make all your fitness dreams happen!! Since you are already in Robson Square, you may as well check out the outdoor skating rink and get a bit of a sweat on while chatting with your wonderful date!
Writer’s Note ~ The black shot in the bottom corner is called the e3 Live shot and although it looks gross, it is actually really awesome! It’s made up of blue-green algae and organic grapefruit juice! Definitely try it out! (Don’t worry! You won’t taste the algae!!)
