Ready Set Bro

As the sun sets on this Fall Equinox, we close the chapter on Ready Set Bro.

Launched on March 4, 2021, RSB has been our home for the last 4.5 years. In that time, we grew up, learned the ropes of the music industry, and shared our music with so many of you. From our originals (Stardust, Afterlife, Harlow, Carousel), covers (Ben, Please Come Home for Christmas, Closer to the Heart), to our 4 lyric videos, and features on Global Calgary , TEEN KIDS NEWS, CochraneNow and in Authority Magazine, this has been an unforgettable experience.

Some of the highlights were playing countless gigs at Ironwood Stage & Grill , Brewing Company & Restaurant - Crowfoot, Brewing Company & Restaurant - Airdrie, Brickwell Taphouse, Kitchen and Bar, Thomsons Kitchen & Bar, The Blind Beggar Pub, Angel's Cafe, Mikey's Juke Joint,
4th Street Night Market, Lilac Festival, Century Downs Racetrack and Casino, Jubilee Auditoria, Bella Concert Hall at Taylor Centre for the Performing Arts , and Nashville's Opry Mills. We also competed twice in Empowering Minds Live & Unsigned Contest, placing second both times, and took an unforgettable trip to Nashville in 2022 to write, record, and perform.

None of this would have been possible without the mentorship of PCG Artist Strategies, especially Bernard Porter, Britton Cameron Producer Songwriter Mentor, Jennifer McGill , and Will Muse Music, who guided us with wisdom and encouragement. To our parents, family, friends, and fans, you’ve carried us through every step and we thank-you!

Through these years, we discovered who we are as artists and where we want to go. With that growth, we knew it was time for a new identity, one that reflects the sound and vision we’re chasing now. We’re beyond excited to introduce our new Country Rock Band: Take The Sonset! 🌅

Happy Birthday Kap! We can’t believe we are celebrating your milestone 18th birthday today! Even though you are officially an adult lol you will always be our littlest bro! We are so proud of you and all your accomplishments to date and can’t wait to see what you do in your next adventures! Happy Father’s Day to our amazing Dad and our favourite drummer! We are so grateful to have such a kind, caring and talented Dad in our lives and it’s an honour to get to share the stage with him. We are also thinking of our Grandpa Gus today who passed away earlier this year. If it weren’t for him we wouldn’t have the Dad we have today. We miss you Grandpa every day. You were always humble and kind. ❤️

Happy Siblings Day! One day late but still worthy of posting to say how grateful we are for each other! This past year has been full-on with all of us busy in different directions but behind the scenes, we’ve been creating and planning for our next venture and we can’t wait to share with you all in the months ahead! 1 week until we are back under the same roof collaborating!
