Praise in the Park is happening today at Nose Creek Park from 1PM–6PM 🙌☀️

This event is about more than just worship music — it’s about community. Bringing people together, supporting local vendors, enjoying food trucks, meeting new people, and creating positive connections.

There will be live Christian worship music, a small local market, and food trucks throughout the afternoon.

Simple Services will be popping down later to enjoy the atmosphere and support a great community event. Hope to see lots of people out enjoying the day!

There’s been a lot of years where I thought the answer was just to push harder. Work harder. Stay busy. Keep it together so nobody else had to worry. Like that was strength.

But the truth is, carrying everything alone doesn’t make you strong — it just makes things heavier over time.

A lot of men are in that same place right now. Quietly dealing with stress, pressure, expectations, and life in general… while still showing up for everyone else like nothing is wrong.

At Simple Services, I’ve learned something important: sometimes the most simple thing can make the biggest difference. A check-in. A conversation. A moment where someone actually listens.

So check in on your friends. Check in on your neighbours. Even check in with a stranger. It doesn’t have to be deep or complicated. Just real.

Because you never really know what someone is carrying.

We were out and about today assisting where we were needed, and with weather like this, safety needs to come first. Once things calm down, take a few minutes to safely check around your home for lifted shingles, loose siding, missing pieces, leaks, or anything that may have been damaged by the wind. Catching these issues early can help prevent bigger problems and keep your home and family protected.
