Anchor Point Church Alliston

Over the last month, we as a community accepted the challenge to spend 10 minutes every day in the Secret Place with God. The Secret Place is simple, it is where you create a time and space where you can be alone with God. We did our best not to overcomplicate it. For some of us it was our car on the drive home. For some it was a walk in the woods. For others it was the prayer room at Paris St. Whatever it looked like we were doing our best to say yes to Jesus’ invitation to just “go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.” (Matthew 6:6) This past Sunday we gathered and shared what we discovered in the Secret Place. If you weren’t there try and take some time to journal your thoughts and answers to these two simple questions. After you do that share them with someone in the community. Take time to listen to their answers and then thank God together for who He is and what He’s done. Also! You can come check out the prayer room where we have posted what was discovered about God and ourselves:) We’re trusting that this last month of making time in the Secret Place a priority primed the pump for a life of ceaseless prayer and a deep awareness that we are-by grace-living the With God Life. May it be, Lord.

This Sunday, June 19th we will be meeting at the Paris Street building to celebrate and pray together and last but not least have a potluck lunch! Please note that there will be no service at the theatre and no Sunday school classes this week.
