Misinformation can be a dangerous thing. When it comes to homelessness, there are many unfounded myths and stereotypes. These false narratives are particularly troublesome, as they add to the further stigmatization of a group of people already unfairly criticized and judged by the public. The truth is that homelessness is an unfortunate reality for many people in our society. It's only by addressing these myths and deconstructing them that we will be able to create a society in which people feel comfortable reaching out for help.

Operation: Break the Stigma!, will be held virtually on Monday, November 29, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event is being spearheaded by youth who identify as having a disability.
