Once upon a time the Monague family would all climb into the family van and set out to deliver their crafts to different stores, the Trading Post was one of them. Today we are proud to still be carrying the beautiful crafts made by Monague Native Crafts.
Tonight while someone else sets out to deliver their crafts, we hope you all have a goodnight, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Made by Dorothy Grieves from, Oxford House, Manitoba. Dorthy is Cree and has been beading since she was 11. At 85 her hands are still busy making beautiful, cozy creations.
Materials used are, moose hide, white rabbit fur (women’s moccasin), and brown beaver fur (men’s moccasin)

To remember, we have beaded poppies made by Lydia Macdonald, from the Boy Chief Family, Blackfoot, Siksika, Alberta.
National Aboriginal Veterans Day is today, November 8th, and Remembrance Day is this Friday, November 11th.
We also encourage those who can, to donate to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund.
