Celebrating 3 wonderful years at my current office 🌼 I’ve been practicing 8 years, this is the longest I’ve stayed in a single location. Hygiene is often demanding and lonely. But with the right team around you it can also be empowering and fun.

It’s a victory I wanted to share because I know many providers can feel the same. It can be hard to put down roots. I’ve grown more alongside this team that anywhere else. I can reflect on how my own behaviour contributed to my struggles at previous offices, not just the environments I was surrounded by. For the fellow hygienists still finding their people. They exist - you maybe just haven’t crossed paths yet.

Joining this team also brought me to my incredible work wife. So this is also a love letter to Megan. I arrived and asked her to take me along, to teach me her ways and she did that and more. She breathed new life into a career I already loved but forgot how to, and I’ll forever be grateful for that temp shift. 🦷✨
