Full Camp Description: 👇
This Summer, Simcoe Lacrosse, will host a 3-day youth lacrosse camp from August 29th- August 31st, right here in Simcoe County! This camp is open for U11, U13, & U15's (2007-2012 YOB) and will take place each day from 9am-2pm! Each day will include box lacrosse skill development, field lacrosse skill development, scrimmages, as well as fun recreational activities! Additionally, we will have goalie specific training for both box & field goalies each day of camp, held by Guardian Goaltending! All skill levels are welcome to attend as there will be stations & groups set up to accommodate all abilities! This camp will be hosted by current and former professional lacrosse players!

Introducing Hockey Crosse Training: Lacrosse for hockey players! Play lacrosse, get better at hockey! Registration is now open!

Improve your on ice skills by learning the transferable skills of lacrosse! This summer, full teams can book lacrosse training session as a method of off-ice training! Additionally, we will also have a drop-in time slot, Thursdays at 6:45pm beginning June 9th for individual hockey players over the course of the summer! All equipment, including sticks, will be available for teams to use at each session!

FULL PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Hockey Crosse Training is a program offered where hockey players have the opportunity to participate in a cross-training style workout by playing lacrosse in a fun & structured setting with our professional lacrosse coaches!

We will provide each player a lacrosse stick to use for their session upon arrival to the rink. In each session, our coaches will work with players to teach the transferable skills of lacrosse, such as catching, passing, shooting, running with the ball, protecting the ball from defenders, and more, which will positively translate to on-ice performance by improving hand-eye-coordination, stick handling, footwork, conditioning, creativity, stick protection and more! These skills will be taught through the use of drills & fun games, making this program a great off-season training alternative, as well as a fun team building activity!

What you'll need for your session:
✅ Lacrosse helmet with cage or hockey helmet with cage
✅ Running shoes
✅ Water bottle

Opening Start Date: June 9th/2022
