I have come to concede that l gave in to get parole from the jailhouse! No longer am l prisoner number 46329 l am now using my name Hunter.
I stopped the biting and swatting and lunging at the human because she would not give in and let me win. To be fair cat jail got a bit boring.
I was able to communicate to the rescue people that l didn’t get to be a kitten and still need to. I went to the vet man and was a good boy got my needles and that jazz, neutered and ready to go! What he said we need to remember is l missed being a kitten so l am an 18 month old almost 10 pound kitten and l act accordingly.
I am smart though l learned no and to stay off the counters. I learned not to dig my claws in or l don’t get any nice belly rubs or back scratches so fair that’s a good trade. I still pretend l am going to bite and put my teeth on hands but l get put down on the floor and ignored. I don’t like that so l am not doing it much anymore. I was not aware there are other animals in the world and they scare me a lot ! I also don’t like people in uniforms or anyone walking in the hall outside the apartment door. I puff up and growl to protect my new space but the maid tells me l am okay no one is going to hurt me and l kind of believe her a bit. I think l would like to be an only cat home but l can show you some amazing zoomies and l learned to fetch the plastic springs. I figured out of l bring them back they get thrown again. I love those springs so l need a lot of them in my forever home. I watch dogs out the window and they might be okay because they aren’t interested in me and l can just watch.
I have learned a lot and l know it’s better to behave and l get so much attention. I like to follow the ex jailer around and get on her lap to get all the attention l was missing out on!
I am ready to go if you’re ready for a spring fest and lots of attention, like a shadow attention! 🐾
