If you've been following us for a while, you may have noticed something.

One action can set off a chain reaction of good things in our communities. Donors create funds to help charities, and those charities provide much-needed services, and these services often lead to partnerships, and out of these partnerships come new opportunities to support our communities.

The DOC ROB Fund is one example. Three years ago, DOC ROB sponsored the first-ever Mental Health Symposium in Parry Sound, hosted by Sound Youth Counselling. This support included providing bursaries for high school students to attend the event.

This year, Mind-Aid Muskoka is joining the event as a presenting partner โ€“ and the DOC ROB Fund was there to help. The fund granted $5,000 to MiND-AID to sponsor the symposium, which will be held on Friday, April 24.

The Mental Health Symposium will be a day of learning and connection, as parents, professionals, teachers, and community members come together. We are grateful to the DOC ROB Fund for making ripples of impact with its support for the Mental Health Symposium.
