Big shout out to Gerald Allen club member competed today in the Division B Tall Tales contest for summit Toastmasters. Gerald came in second!!! πŸ†πŸ₯ˆπŸ†πŸ…

Congratulations Gerald!!!!

Ps Gerald also competed in the International Speech contest for Toastmasters in the Arts (the other club he is a member of) he came in third!! Well done Gerald. Represented your two clubs so well.

Speeches were so good today. Congratulations to the winners who move onto the district contests in April at the annual conference that Summit is hosting in Brandon.

Feature Toastmaster Friday:
Lets introduce you to Geordie Hargreaves. Geordie has been a member since 2007. He has taken on every club officer role in the club. Geordie is also a member of 2 clubs in Brandon. He has also taken on various roles within District 64 Toastmasters. He has represented Summit Toastmasters very well on the district level where he was awarded The Hope Moffat Memorial Outstanding Toastmasters Award for 2024.

Geordie says "Toastmasters is a place where you can find your voice but also find your confidence".
