What is a chakra?

It is an energy vortex that is shaped like a funnel. The narrow end of the funnel feeds into the vertical power current that runs through the center of the body.

We have seven major chakras (energy centers) that when functioning well, rotate in a clockwise direction and extend about 6-9 inches out from the physical body.

The chakras metabolize universal energy that nourishes the associated psychological and physical functions.

When the chakras are balanced and aligned, there is ease and health. When energy in the body is blocked or distorted, the corresponding chakra is unable to metabolize the incoming energy and distress results. A malfunctioning chakra will eventually lead to physical pain or disease.
