What an incredible time at GRIMP 2026 in Belgium!!!

The team here at MLR Ropes and Gear had an amazing time taking in the competition, connecting with friends and partners across the rope rescue and work-at-height community, and seeing some truly world-class rescue teams put their skills to the test.

We feel incredibly excited and lucky to be part of an event that brings together so much knowledge, passion, and commitment to advancing rescue and safety at height. Events like GRIMP are a reminder of just how strong and dedicated this community really is.

We’re especially proud to attend and sponsor Chisholm Trail Rescue Team as they represent their skills, teamwork, and professionalism on an international stage. It was an honour to support them and to be surrounded by so many people pushing the standard forward. 

With that, a HUGE congrats on 5th place CTR!

Thank you to everyone who made GRIMP such a memorable experience.

The MLR team is not just at Grimp Day Belgium, we made it out west to the Alberta Mine Safety Association Mine Rescue Competition!

Looking forward to a full 2 days of elite level work from these teams, plus a little expo and networking to top it off!

We even had a special guest from Japan!

Not to mention all the shows and conferences the team has been a part of over the last month. It's been a ride!

Now we travel to Belgium for and Edmonton, Alberta for this week!
