Desiree's Angels Announcement.

It's with a heavy heart I am making this post.

2025 Desiree's Angels hosted their last fundraising events which includes our Breakfast, Golf Tournament and Desiree's Ride.

Saturday, August 16th we celebrated our 10th Annual Desiree's Ride. 10 years of helping Victims of Crime. My heart is filled with many emotions as I write this post.

There are so many people that have been such a big part of Desiree's Angels. To start Lisa Ellison-Stanford and Sheraya Stanford, Desiree’s best friend, held the first fundraising for Desiree in 2013. These two wonderful ladies raised $7000.00 to help her rehabilitation and medical costs. John Kormos held the first Ride for Desiree in 2014. He raised $10,000.00 to help Desiree with her rehabilitation and medical costs. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Our family will never forget what you guys did for our family. What you three started along with the love and support and hard work of our board members & committee members turned into what we have, Desiree’s Angels/ Desiree's Ride which helped so many people, touching many hearts, making a difference in so many lives and keeping Desiree's memory alive. All of you went above and beyond and brought so many wonderful people together who shared the same passion in helping Victims of Crime. We all become one big Des family and share a special bond. AGAIN THANK YOU SO MUCH! I couldn't have done it without all you ❤️

I want to thank Donna Maguire , Martin Maguire, our Desiree's Ride Kawartha Chapter, Teri Aers & Tami McLeod, Matt Aers, our Desiree's Ride Chatham Chapter, and Wolf Manion, Karen Hardt, our Niagara Falls Chapter. You all stepped up to host Desiree's Ride in your cities and went above and beyond in helping Victims of Crime. All of you were a big part of Desiree's Angels in helping Victims of Crime over the 10 years. THANK YOU for everything all of you did.

Our family has been blessed to have so much amazing support from the community, friends and especially from our Des family. The support has kept me standing and the strength to continue fighting.

I am proud to Announce with everyone's love and support, Desiree's Angels raised over $120,000.00 to help Victims of Crime. THANK YOU EVERYONE!

We are still planning to help a family at Christmas through Victim Services that has been affected by Crime. This is one of our favorite things we love do and have been doing for a few years. Helping those in need.

This is not goodbye, it's see you around.
