A nice 2000amp service were installing. This particular service will have 3 600kw Diesel generators as a backup, The service, electrical room, generator room and full electrical system has been designed and will installed by ourselves. Schneider Electric Rexel Atlantic PM Wardlow

This week we teamed up with Schneider Electric and a local PEI contractor to turn out this absolute beauty. Working in Charlottetown PEI with the buildings electrical contractor we replaced this 3000 amp switchboard and installed a brand new state of the art Masterpact MTZ circuit breaker. The electrical contractor disconnected all the out going circuits and paved the way for Schneider and ourselves to remove the old switchboard and old Federal pioneer 3000 amp H3 circuit breaker. With some onsite custom bus work and some controls we left the site with a new I-Line breaker line up in just 2 and half days from time of power disconnection to power up. The time even included testing Maritime Electrics load shed controls that we were tasked with re-installing onto the new breaker. The MTZ breaker has some fantastic features, the breaker can be remote controlled securely from a cell phone as long as your within the range of Bluetooth. Press the button on the breaker connect your phone from the App leave the room, enter the predetermined pattern on you phone and the breaker will close, and don't worry about security the app is secured with passwords and you can only connect to the breaker once the button on the front has been pressed and it's only active for a very short time to allow connection. No worries about hacking or anyone connecting remotely. This is a fantastic solution for where the arc flash is considered to high to close the breaker from the front of the breaker.
